Amazing Joe's Grill

The first Amazing Joe’s opened in early 2008 in Muncie, IN by a group of 3 guys with a combined total of 50 plus years of experience in casual dining. We were certain that we could provide the highest quality cuts of aged beef for a price that any average joe like us can afford. Our steaks and service are undeniably the best in the casual dining industry… we guarantee it! If you are not completely satisfied with your event for any reason, it’s on us. YOU’LL NEVER WASTE A PENNY AT JOE’S. We choose to repurpose locations that maybe didn’t work out for another concept for one reason or another. We feel by doing this we improve the look of the older buildings and immediately become a good neighbor in any town. We purposely only have 4 or 5 TV’s in our bar areas and no neon’s or memorabilia decorations as we are not trying to compete with the many great sports bars out there. We are a place for you to come and enjoy with your family, friends, coworkers and our great food and service. We do almost everything “housemade” so if you have a special dietary concern let your server know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Our hours are posted but rest assured you will get the same great food and service at 5 minutes till close that you would get during prime dinner hours. [read more]

Baskin-Robbins of Muncie

Imagine a place where all day long people talk about ice cream, eat ice cream and even dream ice cream. That’s us. That’s Baskin-Robbins. Over 70 years ago, Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins had the crazy idea of offering 31 flavors of ice cream when everyone else was still selling vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Burt and Irv were absolutely nuts about ice cream (Irv even had a swimming pool shaped like an ice cream cone). Their passion was contagious, and we like to think our 1400+ flavors have made the world a more flavorful place since we opened for business in 1945. [read more]

Bath Fitter

There's a motto we live by at Bath Fitter: don't be right, get it right. It embodies the spirit of continual improvement, helping ourselves and the world become a better place every day by recognizing problems and finding solutions. That spirit comes from the top, Bath Fitter founders and brothers Brian, Wayne and Glenn Cotton. They took a simple idea - that there should be an easier and more reliable way to remodel your bathroom than the demolition they were stuck with in the 80's - invested lots of hard work and turned it into a thriving international company. First, they saw that commercial properties, like hotels, were running into big problems renovating their old bathrooms. Demolition cost the businesses so much time and money and contractors could be fickle. Bath Fitter provided the solution, letting commercial spaces give their patrons the luxurious tubs and showers hotels are famous for, and get back to business sooner. But the Cotton brothers believe home owners deserve the same sparkling baths as 5-star hotels, without the extensive and extended demolition that can seriously inconvenience home life. So they quickly expanded their offerings for residential homes. For more than 35 years, Bath Fitter has worked to perfect that process to bring everyone a better bath that takes into account real people's needs. That's why Bath Fitter tubs and showers are made of high-gloss acrylic that wipes clean easily, and they are installed in one day for ultimate convenience. We still work every single day to be better and to continually improve our products and our customers' lives. That's the Bath Fitter promise — the spirit of continual improvement guides us as we look forward to a long future of serving our communities and getting it right. [read more]

Black Pine Animal Sanctuary

In the late 1980’s Karen Hoag and her husband adopted a single llama from a neighbor who could no longer care for it, and agreed to raise the llama on their small farm. From that moment on, over the years the couple became known in the area as a place to surrender wild and exotic animals that people no longer could care for properly. There were multiple reasons why the animals were surrendered, which still exist to this day. The reasons for surrendering wild and exotic animals range from the animal size, temperament, care involved, and many times lack of resources or adequate space. Originally named PARC (Professional Animal Retirement Center) in 2001, the organization became a nonprofit 501(c) 3, and was then named Black Pine Animal Sanctuary. Due to the number of animals and need for more space, in 2006 the Noble County 4H Club leased the current location to BPAS, and this is now the forever home to over 60 species of animals, reptiles, and birds. Black Pine Animal Sanctuary is one of the only multi species sanctuaries in the Midwest. The sanctuary includes an Avian Building, Primate House, and Reptile House, which are all climate controlled through the winter cold months. In 2019, Black Pine Animal Sanctuary became accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries, which assures the public that BPAS is a true sanctuary. Unlike many self-professed sanctuaries, and zoos, we do not buy, sell, breed or trade the animals at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary. Animals who now live at the sanctuary, have been surrendered or confiscated by legal authorities and will remain at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, living peacefully and being well cared for, for the rest of their lives.
