With a vision of the finest Barbeque, Squealers Award Winning Barbeque hit the road to put their stamp on the BBQ competition circuit. The first step was to equip a well thought out design for their custom smokin’ wagon. The end result: A 30-foot enclosed trailer, with a 500 spk smoking bad boy with a 3-bay sink system and refrigeration. Very easy to see, it’s “all in” on this one. With the smokin’ wagon ready Squealers started their journey in the world of cooking outstanding barbeque. Competing and selling in more than 24 cities in 1999, Squealers got a real feel for what it takes to score high with the judges and win over the (now) loyal customers. Achieving over 65 awards at assorted National barbeque, World barbeque, and Ribfest events through the South, East, and Midwest, Squealers wanted to bring home all the expertise they had acquired. As the smoke grew high so did the need for Squealers to fuel the fire. In May of 2001 came the first Squealers dine-in barbeque restaurant in Mooresville, Ind., with 175 seats, a full bar, and a banquet room to hold 125 people. In addition, Squealers had that one extra ingredient to make a giant splash in Mooresville: GREAT BARBEQUE. Squealers delivered… and is now known for great eats miles around. It was not long before it was time to make a wave in a bigger pool. In 2004, Squealers Award Winning Barbeque did it again. The Indianapolis location at West 86th Street was equipped with 212 seats, a full, separate bar, and 2 spk 1000 Southern Pride smokin’ pits. They were ready to tag the Indianapolis market with great award winning southern style barbeque, once again hitting a home run with this outstanding and truly authentic smoked barbeque. With two locations in Central Indiana, Squealers continues to be a staple in the Indiana barbeque scene and a consistent favorite for authentic smoked barbeque, weekly lunch specials, kids menus, senior specials and more — there is something for everyone. Enhancing their local impact, Squealers continues to partner with the not-for-profit Indiana Pork, which represents the state’s 3,000 family pork farmers through the pork check-off program. Additionally, Squealers exclusively uses Indiana Kitchen pork through a continued partnership with the Delphi-based pork processor Indiana Packers, which accounts for approximately 3 tons of smoked ribs and pork weekly between their two central Indiana stores. Hive is a counter-service restaurant for a quick, delicious, sit-down meal -- or order online and grab-and-go (literally). The open-concept and community tables make Hive a spot that all ages come to gather and share a meal. There's even a dog-friendly patio for four-legged family. Hive opens for coffee and pastries at 6 AM daily and kitchen opens for breakfast at 7 AM. Starting at 11 AM, we serve our full day menu until seating stops at 9 PM.
