The Twelve Months of Christmas came about in a strange way. In 2002, my husband, Randy and I went to Las Vegas. As we were going to the hotel, I noticed a panel truck with “Jones Christmas Shop” on it. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I looked their number up in the phone book and gave them a call. During a break in gaming, I took some time to visit their shop. And visit the shop I did! I spent 4 hours browsing and upon leaving the store I thanked the owners and told them how much I enjoyed seeing all of their decorations. They told me that if I liked their shop, I should go to Atlanta and visit Americas-Mart where buyers order Christmas merchandise for their stores. I made the trip to Atlanta and it was like dying and going to Heaven. While in the MeraVic Showroom, a rep got an order form out. I told her I wasn't going to order anything and that I was just looking. Apparently Lisa was an extremely good sales rep because I placed a substantial order for a non-existing business. And that is how The Twelve Months of Christmas came to be. With my passion for Christmas and decorating, and Randy's love of construction, we have built a thriving business that brings joy not only to us but to all who enter our Christmas Store. The first Amazing Joe’s opened in early 2008 in Muncie, IN by a group of 3 guys with a combined total of 50 plus years of experience in casual dining. We were certain that we could provide the highest quality cuts of aged beef for a price that any average joe like us can afford. Our steaks and service are undeniably the best in the casual dining industry… we guarantee it! If you are not completely satisfied with your event for any reason, it’s on us. YOU’LL NEVER WASTE A PENNY AT JOE’S. We choose to repurpose locations that maybe didn’t work out for another concept for one reason or another. We feel by doing this we improve the look of the older buildings and immediately become a good neighbor in any town. We purposely only have 4 or 5 TV’s in our bar areas and no neon’s or memorabilia decorations as we are not trying to compete with the many great sports bars out there. We do almost everything “housemade” so if you have a special dietary concern let your server know and we will do our best to accommodate you. John Hull started working in the farm equipment business in the year of 1896. John died in 1934 and in the same year, Norman Hull (John’s son) and Manuel Hull became partners. Norman Hull thus became the second generation in the business. Manuel Hull died in 1941 and Norman Hull became the sole owner of the company. In 1951 Richard Hull (Norman’s second oldest son) became the third generation in the business. Norman Hull Jr. (Norman’s youngest son, also known as “Buzz”) joined the business in 1960. Hull Brothers was incorporated in 1966. Norman Sr. died in 1974 and Richard and Buzz continued the corporation until their retirements.Fourth Generation (Buzz’s sons) Tom Hull and Bob Hull took over the business with Paul Evans (Richard’s son in law); Tom passed away in 2009. Shortly after, Tom’s wife Jill joined the business. In 2013 Paul and his family left the business and Buzz’s son Dave Hull joined the business with Bob and Jill. Randy Evans (Richard’s grandson) is our full time AFS technician and IT Technical support. Cole Hull (Tom & Jill’s son) and Lane Hull (Dave’s son) are also working in the business. [read more]
